3/9/10 - The first recording session for the new album was a great success. The tracking should be complete by the end of March. Stay tuned!
1/31/10 - Hello, Friends. Due to scheduling conflicts, the recording of my next album will begin the first week of March. In the meantime, please come to a show if you are able! Also, Roadtrip Nation is still airing on some PBS stations, or you can always watch it online. I just received the DVD of the current season. It's fun to hear my music on a DVD! That's all for now.
12/13/09 - Both of the episodes of Roadtrip Nation which contain my songs are now available to watch at www.roadtripnation.com/watch. "The Wind and the Buffalo" can be heard about 16 minutes into Episode 5 and "We Belong to the Earth" is about 12 minutes into Episode 9.
A big thanks to everyone who came to the Gathering Place show in Cherokee! It was a fun time. There are several King's Pointe Resort shows coming up in December and January. Also, some more Minneapolis shows are in the works for the new year.
Recording for my next album is scheduled to begin in January so stay tuned for some new recordings!
10/10/09 - A bit of exciting news: the PBS show Roadtrip Nation is using two of my songs in two episodes of their current season! "The Wind and the Buffalo" will be featured in Episode 5 and "We Belong to the Earth" will be featured in Episode 9. If your local PBS station is not airing the show, you can watch entire episodes at www.roadtripnation.com/watch
Enjoy!
9/22/09 - Some fun shows are coming up after harvest. There are two gigs at King's Pointe Resort in Storm Lake, IA and another big show at the Gathering Place in Cherokee, IA on Nov. 14th. The wonderful people at KCHE Radio in Cherokee have invited me to be on their Cherokee Connections Radio Show on Nov. 12th at 5:30pm. Tune in to 92.1 FM for an interview and in-studio performance. Following the radio show, I will be heading over to the Gathering Place for their Thursday night jam which is always a great time with incredible musicians.
Also, don't forget about the Pharaohs of Rhythm. We will be heading into my new recording studio, The Corncob Base, this weekend to begin work on our new album.

6/1/09 - "We Belong to the Earth" has received an Honorable Mention in the 16th Annual Billboard World Song Contest! "We Belong to the Earth" would like to thank Andy Juhl for writing and recording it.
5/2/09 - I would like to thank everyone for coming out to my March shows at the Red Gorilla Music Fest in Austin, Texas, the Gathering Place in Cherokee, Iowa, and the 331 Club in Minneapolis. All three shows were very different, but they were all enjoyable! We are currently working on starting a new record label called Sun Machine. It is based on a co-op business model, and the artists will keep the rights to their music. It is a very exciting project, so please stay tuned for more information. Thanks for listening!

It is available to order from the CD Baby website. The incredible artwork and photography by Brian David and Stefan Ganchev make this album worth getting.
(The music is not bad either.) If you wait to download the mp3s from iTunes when it becomes available, you will miss out on the great work by these two talented people!
Anyway, I am really happy with how this album turned out, and I hope you enjoy it.
